The Lab Is Recruiting Research Assistants!

The Large-scale Intelligence and Knowledge research group at the School of Intelligent Science and Technology, Nanjing University (https://www.nju-link.com/zh/) is recruiting multiple interns (master’s and doctoral students preferred).

Research Directions

Our core research focuses on large-model technologies, including:

• Large-model agents
• Code intelligence
• Enhancing reasoning capabilities
• Large-model evaluation
• Multimodal large models

Intern Requirements

For master’s and doctoral interns, our basic requirements are:

1. From China’s 985/211 universities or strong computer science programs (e.g., University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Southern University of Science and Technology, ShanghaiTech), or from top overseas universities
2. Majors related to computer science, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, etc.
3. Publications in international top conferences/journals in AI; publications in top venues related to large language models are preferred
4. Proficient in machine learning and fundamentals of large models, strong Python coding skills; familiarity with large-model pretraining and related techniques is preferred
5. Responsible and proactive, able to complete tasks on time, and highly self-motivated

Supervisor Introduction

Jiaheng Liu, Assistant Professor, PhD Advisor

In recent years, he has published over 70 papers in top international conferences and journals such as ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, ACL, CVPR, and ICCV, including more than 20 first-author and corresponding-author papers. His Google Scholar citations exceed 3,800, and he received the ACL 2024 Outstanding Paper Award. He regularly serves as a reviewer for leading conferences and journals and has held roles such as ACL ARR Area Chair and EMNLP 2025 Local Chair. He is also a member of the large-model open organization M-A-P (https://huggingface.co/m-a-p).

Research interests: Pretraining and alignment of large language and multimodal models, code intelligence, evaluation, and related topics.
